I tried contacting potential contributors on Facebook, but I haven’t heard back... help?

For privacy reasons Facebook doesn’t allow you to reach out directly to anyone that isn’t your “friend” (your message will end up in a hidden inbox and the user won’t be notified). So it can be tricky to reach out to strangers on this platform.

We recommend that you create a private event and set the date as the last day you’ll be accepting contributions and invite people to the event. Allow and encourage guests to invite others so that you can reach people outside of your own friend network.
